Virtualmin makes it simple to create and manage email accounts for your domain. Each account can be accessed through webmail, desktop clients, or mobile devices, giving you full flexibility for how you handle email.
Steps to Create a New Email Account:
1. Log in to your Virtualmin dashboard.
2. From the top-left drop-down menu, select the domain where you want to create the mailbox.
3. In the left menu, click Edit Users under the Virtualmin section.
4. Click Add Mail User to create a new email account. This ensures the account is configured with mailbox access, not just system login permissions.
5. Fill in the following fields:
• Username: The part before the @ symbol (for example, “info”).
• Real name: The person or role this account belongs to.
• Password: Choose a secure password, or click Generate Random Password.
6. Leave all other options at their defaults unless you have specific requirements.
7. Click Create to finalize the account.
8. The new address (for example, info@yourdomain.com) will now appear in the user list.
